Currents Ballroom at the Adventure Aquarium: NACE National Conference Annual Gala

Midnight Hour was incredible! From their professionalism to their outstanding musicianship, they kept us on the dance floor the entire night. From singing along with the band, to strutting our dance moves, we had such a great time! Dancing was a fun way to catch up with all of our NACE friends from around the nation.

Hi Shavin!

Midnight Hour surpassed our expectations! Since we did not have a receiving line at the church, our plan was to get around to as many tables as possible at the reception. Our plan happily failed! We made it to three out of fourteen tables because the band had our guests (and ourselves) on the dance floor the entire night! We have since heard many wonderful things about Midnight Hour and the music selection from our family and friends and we are so pleased that you were such a big part of our day. Thanks for making our wedding reception a night we will never forget!

Dear Shavin and Midnight Hour,

Thank you all so so much for putting on such an amazing show for our friends and family last night. Whenwe saw you play for the first time about a year ago we were blown away and told everyone that they were in for a really great time atour wedding. Fortunately, you not only proved us right, but you far exceeded our expectations! You sounded so fantastic and everyone told us so. Everyone wanted to know how we got in touch with you, and the consensus was that you were the best band anyone had ever heard at a wedding! Although tropical storm Hanna threatened to make our wedding a washout, you managed to take everyone's mind off the weather and had everyone dancing the entire night...we really are grateful to you all.

Love,

Private Residence: Surprise 40th Birthday Party

I went to a party on Friday night and Midnight Hour was there. They were excellent and really made the night. Often the band is something to have for just some of the entertainment, but not at this party! They really were impressive and the range of music really brought people together. If I knew they were performing at an upcoming event, I would go out of my way to be there!

Breck and I cannot thank you enough for your performance at our wedding on Saturday night at the DuPont Country Club. Shavin, I could not have asked for a better band leader -- I loved working with you, and appreciate your dedication as well as your suggestions. Our guests were enthralled by the band, and I had an incredible time thanks to you! Thank you for making the night so special!

Wow, wow, wow! We can't thank you and Midnight Hour enough for helping to make our reception a major success. Hope you and the band had as much fun as we did on June 14th! Weeks after the wedding, we continue to receive over the top compliments on how amazing the band sounded. You did an excellent job keeping the energy up, and everyone dancing from beginning to end. The announcements and order of events were seamless, and you didn't miss a beat. You were so accommodating throughout the whole planning process, making sure the reception flowed just how we wanted and that all of our special songs were played. You were great to work around our choreographed first dance, letting my fatherget up and do a few songs with the band, as well as making room for Mike to perform with his friend. It was truly the time of our lives! A recent compliment we received was that you were the best wedding band one of our guests had ever heard...and she's "heard a lot of wedding bands". Again, thank you for all you did and for making Midnight Hour's pure talent a huge part of our special day. I know we will be recommending your services well into the future, and I'm sure our guests will, too!

Thanks again and take care,

Shavin, we can't thank you enough for your phenomenal performance at our wedding at The Flanders! Everyone was raving about the energy levels of the wedding's dance floor. We can't express our level of satisfaction in words, but I especially would like to thank you for the bridal party entrance music - that was the funkiest version of the Theme From 2001 that I've ever heard. Your whole approach to our reception, from the cocktail hour to the after party, was very professional and met all of our needs. Thanks Again!!!

On behalf of my wife Allison, her family, my family, and myself, I would like to extend our deep appreciation for the work Midnight Hour put forth on our special day. I can't tell you how many compliments we've received for the outstanding job you did. We truly couldn't have asked for a better performance. On a personal note, Allison and I loved your rendition of "This Year's Love"by David Grey. I hope you add it to your song list, because other couples would have to feel honored to have such a beautiful rendition played for them.

Excellent work! Thanks again!

We had Midnight Hour at our Wedding on December 8, 2007, and they were the life of the party! The bandleader, Shavin Duffy, was absolutely great to work with in the weeks leading up to our event. At our wedding reception, from the bridal party being introduced to Christmas music, to our first song (which the band learned for us and did aGREAT job with), to the band learning and playing "Fins", we can't even put in words how pleased we were! We are still getting compliments from everyone! We have to say, the only complaint we have is that the night went way too fast! We would like to sincerely thank Midnight Hour for making our wedding reception more special and fun than we could have ever imagined!

We had the pleasure of having Midnight Hour at our daughter's wedding on October 27, 2007 in Camp Hill, PA. The band was absolutely awesome. Everyone was dancing--both old and young. Many people commented on how great the band was. We even extended the reception since no one wanted to leave. Wish we could do it all over again!! Thanks again to Midnight Hour.

To The Midnight Hour Band,

Wow, what can we say that would do your band justice. I first saw your band online and requested a DVD. We listened to it and loved it.Then we came to the "Showcase of Bands" at the Crowne Plaza and we were hooked. We met Shavin and Tiny and the rest is history. We couldn't wait for the reception. We knew everything was going to be great. We had a fabulous reception site and great band. A great band I said, was I wrong! We had a fantastic band. Idon’t think the dance floor was ever empty, even during dinner. I can't tell you how many quests came up to inquire about your band. We had guests that don't normally dance out on the dance floor. My son said to me that he had to look up at you a number of times to see if you were really singing because is sounded so good, he thought it was a CD. We didn't get a chance to talk with you during or after the reception, but my husband and I wanted to thank you for the outstanding job your band did and how much we enjoyed the music. I'm sure we will be recommending you quite often, because after the "bride &groom" you were the hit of the night. Thanks again and keep playing such wonderful music.

Sincerely,

Bob and Sylvia Seaner

Erica,

I have not had a chance to send out anything to the band but could you please extend my thanks, for making everything flow so seamlessly the night of the wedding! Mark and I picked Midnight Hour based on a quick showcase performance and were not really sure what we were getting into with them ~ they were the "unknown" of the wedding...but I received more compliments on the band than almost anything else...They could tell how the quests were responding to certain styles and just kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! They were great ~ so please extend to them my thanks and appreciation!

Hi Shavin,

Oh my God....what a wonderful performance your band did for our wedding. We have received so many compliments about he wedding and your band. Of course, Rob and I agree. The difference between a good wedding and a great wedding is the music, and we believe you made our wedding great!!!!! Thank you so much! Several people have asked for your contact information, so maybe you will be getting some calls for future events. That would be fine with us as we may be invited to those events and then we would get to hear you again.

Thank you so much!!

Midnight Hour played at our wedding on September 23, 2006, and they were phenomenal! We are still getting compliments from our guests! Our experience with Shavin was great. He made it clear from the beginning that he would do everything possible to make our wedding day special. And he did! My husband and I were very particular about the type of music we wanted. Shavin and the band responded with a wonderful set list that entertained all night. Hi Kurt!

I wanted to send you a note to let you know that both Midnight Hour and Stringsations did an outstanding job at our wedding. I had Carol Armstrong and Stringsations play my ceremony music and it was beautiful! Midnight Hour provided background music for our cocktail hour and then player our reception--they were a HUGE hit! I can't tell you how many people commented on how great the band was. They played the right mix of songs and were able to keep things moving along.

It was a pleasure to work with Brandywine Valley Talent for our wedding--thank you again for making our special day perfect!

Dear Shavin, Joanne, and the rest of Midnight Hour-

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! There are no words
to express how grateful we are to you for making our
wedding such a special event in our lives. I can't
even tell you how many people came up to me that night
(and so many times since then) and said, "I love the
band." "The band is amazing." "I want them to come
to Michigan to do my wedding." And even, "I'd love to
see the playlist you gave them. The song selection is
so perfect. They play EVERYTHING!" And my response
to all of them was, "You have no idea. They have gone
above and beyond my expectations in preparation for
tonight."

I was the most annoying bride, emailing and calling
you guys almost daily with requests that were outside
the realm of usual requests (can you play this song?
can we dance to this song?). I asked you to learn two
songs, one for our first dance and one for the
mother/groom dance, and you did. I wanted to sing to
my husband in the ceremony, and you made it possible
by providing me with the backing music and the sound
system. And perhaps my craziest request, I had
dreamed of recording a CD for my husband as a wedding
gift, and not only did Joanne provide me with all of  the backing music for the CD, but Shavin offered to
try to help me record it as well.

You obliged every request no questions asked. You
were so willing to help me make my vision a reality.
And the night couldn't have been more perfect. You
guys sounded the best that I'd ever heard you sound,
and you created this almost palpable energy in the
room. You could just feel this electricity in the
air, and it lasted straight down to the very last
song, at which point the crowd screamed out, "One more
song! One more song!" and you obliged again. Sam and
I can't stop talking about it (and neither can our
friends and family... and it's been 3 weeks since the
wedding!)

I feel like it was fate that I went to Let Them Eat
Cake last year with my parents and heard you guys
playing. Everyone else there was tasting all the
wedding cakes, and I'm going, "Who's the band? Mom, I
love that band!!!"

I just can't thank you guys enough. You were such a
pleasure to work with, and you are all so talented at
what you do. Thank you for making everything so
wonderful. I can't wait to get the video so I can
watch it all over again and see all the parts I
missed. 🙂

Thank you so much. If you ever need a reference,
please feel free to contact us.

Shavin,

I cannot thank you and the band enough for the outstanding performance at our wedding. Mark and I never could have imagined that the band would be as amazing as you were. You had the crowd dancing, having fun, you knew the right mood to set to keep the reception (and our guests) moving and shaking. Every conversation with guests since the wedding has included compliments on Midnight Hour talent, charisma, and performance. Some people say the memorable part of the wedding is the food. We disagree- I attribute the overwhelming success of the reception to you and the rest of the band.

Thank you again for making it so memorable.

Dear Shavin,

Bravo!!!!

I don't even know where to begin. Ryan and I could not have been more honored to have you play at our wedding. You all came so highly recommended, and you certainly blew the roof off the place. We have been inundated with phone calls and emails from family and friends on how great and FUN you were!! From the song choices, to your accuracy, to your energy, we felt as if you truly put your heart and soul into each and every performance. We cannot thank you enough, and I will do anything possible to recommend you to everyone I know.

"Thunder Road" was certainly a highlight of my night... what a performance!!! Just watching you sing was very emotional for me. Each of you deserve alot of credit. I cannot say enough to show you my appreciation. We've had numerous comments about the Piano Man and how you brought the night to an emotional close with laughter and tears. You honestly were the best band we have EVER heard, and we feel special to have had you there on our day. Thanks again, and I truly hope we see/hear you all very soon.

Please take care, and best of luck to you and the band!

Kristen& Ryan Worch

PS. Please give us anyone's name who is inquiring about Midnight Hour. I know Ryan and I both (along with friends and family) would be happy to speak to them. That is actually how we were turned onto you in the first place. Well done!

For anyone considering the Midnight Hour band, let me tell you that this was the best investment of our entire wedding day.

Midnight Hour was not only professional and organized, but also went above and beyond any of our greatest expectations. The song selection was perfect. From Eminem to Stix and even Frank Sinatra, the music covered the tastes of all generations.

In an effort to make my day special, Midnight Hour learned several new songs which they played during our ceremony. Their rendition of Lady brought me to tears. Midnight Hour was even gracious enough to welcome me into a band member's home so that we could practice a duet for my husband. We will never forget my duet with Shavin.

To this day, our guests still rave about Midnight Hour. I have heard on several occasions, and I must agree that, "this was the best wedding band I have ever heard."

I could not more stronglyrecommend Midnight Hour-- they made our wedding.

During the time we were planning our wedding, I often felt like I had to chase after some of our vendors, but not Midnight Hour. Shavin actually called me periodically throughout the planning process to make sure our plans were all coming together, and that was very comforting. Shavin was so easy to get in touch with, and reassured me that I did not have to worry about the band, that they would take care of everything... and they did!

When the big night arrived, everyone was so impressed with Midnight Hour. My godfather, who has been in the recording industry for decades, would not believe how good the band was. He asked for their card, and later commented to me, 'When he sang Fields of Gold' I had no idea it was not Sting!' Even people who I've never seen dance before were up on the floor. I just cannot explain how good they were. We couldn't have asked for more.

Nothing could have been a better endorsement for the happiness and joy of our wedding day than the enthusiastic performance of those very talented musicians. And they were so nice too. At the end of the night, and now a few months later, their music remains one of the defining elements to a day we will remember with so much happiness for the rest of our lives.

Hiring Midnight Hour was the best investment we made for our wedding. They totally set the fun tone that we wanted for the entire reception and had everyone- from our 4 year old nephew to our 80-something old aunts and uncles- dancing the entire time. Midnight Hour maintained high energy throughout the reception and interacted well with the crowd. They learned three new songs for us, including our first dance, an 80's tune, and a 60's song, and all of them sounded great. They followed all of our wishes exactly, from what we wanted to be called during announcements, to the timeline of the reception, to the list of songs that we did and didn't want them to play (that was very important!), and our guests loved being able to sing some songs with the band. Months later, we continue to get raves from our guests, that they were one of the best bands they've ever heard. Thanks, Midnight Hour, for an awesome time!
