Dear Midnight Hour,

THANK YOU for making my wedding reception a night I will never forget. I am sure you know that every bride has anxiety over hosting an event for one of the most important days of her life. Thanks to you all, my reception went flawlessly. From the cocktail hour to the introductions and special dances, I could not have envisioned everything going so perfectly.

Ricky and I had always planned on using the original song recording of "I Only Have Eyes For You" by the Flamingos for our first dance because we love their unique sound. I cannot tell you how excited I was to hear that the band would be able to learn it for us and play the song live, and WOW, what a fantastic job you did. You are all SO versatile and professional. Your energy kept the dance floor packed and smiles plastered on people's faces. Everyone was commenting on how wonderful the band was and that they were having such a fantastic time (and that is a HUGE compliment because some of my guests are real critics) Comments like "I've never been to a wedding in all my life where everyone left their dinners on the table so they could be on the dance floor!" and "This is the most fun I've had at a wedding in the last 20 years!" Another couple there had heard you guys play at a couple other places and they said you sounded fantastic every time. I could go on and on.

Bottom line, if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. THANK YOU!!

Dear Shavin and The Midnight Hour Band,

We first heard Midnight Hour at a friend's wedding a few year's ago, before we were engaged.  It was the most fun we ever had at a wedding. We believe music is the most important element to any party, and Midnight Hour proved it to us at that wedding. We made sure we got your information from that bride, because we knew we would be calling you when it was finally our turn!

Well, you came through for us. We appreciated and loved how much you talked to us about the music and the plan for the night in the weeks and months prior to our wedding. We were surprised at how easily you could accommodate our special requests, the songs we wanted to hear that were not your band's song list, and that you let us choose the music that we'd have playing during your dinner break.  People came up to us at the very beginning of the night, before salads were even cleared, to tell us how awesome the band was, and they continued to tell us throughout the night, and in the weeks since the wedding.

Our guests are telling us that our wedding was the best wedding they ever attended.  That's what we told our friend -- the one who hired you a few years ago. So, I know that without you guys, our guests would not be saying that!

Thank you for everything you did to make our wedding magical and memorable for us and our guests.

AMAZING!!! We can't thank you enough for helping to make our reception a major success. We hope you had just as much fun as we did! Three months later, we continue to receive compliments on how amazing the band was and how much fun everyone had. You did an excellent job in keeping the energy up, and everyone, as I'm sure you could tell, was dancing from the beginning to the end. The announcements and order of events were seamless, and you didn't miss a beat.

You were so accommodating throughout the whole planning process, making sure the reception flowed just how we wanted and that all of our special songs were played. We especially want to thank you for learning our first dance song "The Gift."  It was perfect. You were absolutely great with getting the guests up and involved. It was truly the time of our lives, a time our guests and us will never forget! Rob and I just wanted to THANK YOU very much for an absolutely phenomenal performance at our wedding!  We had such a wonderful time and we've received so many compliments about our band.  From the planning phase to our wedding day, you have been such a pleasure to work with and always put us at ease.  It is very rare to attend a wedding where everyone, from all age groups, is on the dance floor from beginning to end, and you guys definitely delivered!  We were laughing at some of our crazy song requests, and we were in awe when Midnight Hour performed each song to perfection!  A friend wrote to us (and this is a quote)..."Kyrie by Mr. Mister...quite possibly the best ending to a wedding ever!  We had a blast!"  And Rob's mother was in tears as Tiny performed Elvis' "Welcome to my world" so beautifully.  You are so incredibly talented and professional - is there anything you can't do?  We want you to know how honored we were to work with you and how incredibly happy you have made us!  Thank you again, and best of luck to you in the future!

Thank you for making our wedding reception so much fun! The band was great, and the songs you learned were HUGE hits with our guests.  "Feelin' Alright" [by Joe Cocker] was awesome!  Loving Cup [by The Rolling Stones], fantastic!  And ending the night with your version of "Harvest Moon" [by Neil Young] was exactly how I imagined it.  Hearing those songs at our wedding made it so personal for us, and got everyone on the dance floor!  (One of Eric's friends actually screamed when she heard Loving Cup!).

Reading your blog was also a trip! A friend of mine texted me while we were on our honeymoon and we logged on at the hotel to see what you had written...Eric loved being quoted, you guys are great!

Thank you so very much for your hard work, professionalism, and excellent talent.   I hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. I think that our reception was the most fun our family has had together in almost 10 years!

Midnight Hour played at our wedding reception, and numerous guests commented to us about how impressed they were with the breadth of the band's repertoire, from The Black-Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feelin (Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night)" and "Let's Get it Started" to U2's "Beautiful Day". We especially appreciated Shavin working with us to play our favorites ... they did "Livin' on a Prayer" and also learned some new songs for us, including "Eye of the Tiger" and Bon Jovi's "It's My Life". The dance floor was packed with those songs! The music was so great that Ryan (the groom) missed eating his groom's cake because he was dancing so much!

You really MADE our reception. All of our guests said it was the best band they had ever heard. You had great instincts as to what to play when.  People really were dancing the entire reception -- to the point where we could only greet our guests by joining them on the dance floor.

Please give my thanks to Pepper and the entire Midnight Hour Band.  They did a fabulous job for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding on August 1st at the Villanova Conference Center and I can't thank them enough.

The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, but it was more then that.  They were professional yet personable.  Whoever handles the sound had it just right, you could feel the music but not get blasted out of the room.  They allowed my husband to sing a special song to Marisa and it was perfect.  Every song sounded like the original, a few times I had to look to see it was them and not a recording.  The best time was had by all and we have a life time of happy memories of the night.

Brandywine Valley Talent did it again! The 5th Annual ISES Liberty Awards Gala held on June 2, 2009 was a huge success thanks to you and your great staff at BVT. Thanks for providing the Entertainment for the entire event! From the DJ and Percussion duo by the Poolside during cocktails, to the great sounds of Jazz provided by Lou Lanza and his band throughout the Dinner and Awards to the unbelievable dance party music that Midnight Hour played in Club BLING!! It was an amazing night and a wonderful time was had by all!!

I can’t tell you how many compliments we've received about your band! Everyone keeps telling us what a great time they had at our reception, and how much fun it was. I have to thank Joanne for the beautiful job she did singing our song (the unique version of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" from the movie "Across The Universe"). I had no idea that was her singing at first -- it sounded like the recording!  She was spectacular, and that made it all the more special for us. I can’t wait to relive it when I see the video!

Midnight Hour is Fantastic!  They brought such an atmosphere of fun, excitement, and happiness to our wedding reception.  All of our guests commented on how spectacular the band was, and how they made the event 'above and beyond' any other wedding that they had ever attended.  The musical abilities of the band members and the variety of vocals makes almost any song you would like available for you to use - including the theme song from "The Simpson's," which the band played as we entered the ballroom.  Additionally, Pepper (the band leader) brought a ton of great ideas when we met with him to discuss our reception, and he worked with us to bring creativity into the Father/Daughter dance, our entrance song, the bouquet toss, and our first dance.  They are so much fun to work with and we would use them again in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved having Midnight Hour play for our wedding.  I can't tell you how much John and I LOVED the music!!!!!!!!!!!  Our guests were telling us throughout the evening (and long after the wedding) how much they enjoyed the music and thought you guys were fabulous.  I'm so excited that you will be playing for my brother's wedding in July 2009...as John and I will get to groove to Midnight Hour again!!! 

Also, thank you for being so accomodating to our requests.  My dad's polka sounded fantastic on your system....I cant believe it sounded that good.  By the way, you guys also play a mean polka as well! The Brian Setzer song you guys learned was perfect...literally....it couldnt have been better.  

What seemed so great was that I felt like the band has a great time playing music together...you can see it and hear it!!! I will always recommend Midnight Hour to friends and family.  I really feel like the band made our wedding perfect.
