In 1999, after nineteen years of performing with the award-winning Philadelphia wedding and dance band, Jellyroll. Kurt Titchenell started Brandywine Valley Talent, now known as BVTLive, the leading party and wedding entertainment agency in the Philadelphia area! Kurt’s vision was to create a company that would exclusively represent dance bands that shared his philosophy of making clients’ dreams come true by surpassing all expectations, thereby creating great opportunities for the musicians involved.

BVTLive has grown into a full-service live entertainment company, featuring 12 award-winning dance bands. BVTLive’s bands and entertainers will perform at over 750 events this year alone, including performances at the most exclusive weddings, galas, and social affairs from New York to Washington, DC. Simply put, the company gives back, supporting charitable causes from The Philadelphia Flyers Wives Fight For Lives Carnival to Alex’s Lemonade Stand to FOX Philly’s “Salute the Troops”, to name a few.

Both Jellyroll and City Rhythm have been selected as “Best Of Philly” in the past by Philadelphia Magazine. BVTLive is based just outside of Philadelphia, in historic Chadds Ford, PA, with a staff of seven full-time employees, backed by a great team of interns from the founder’s alma mater, West Chester University.
