Kurt launched BVTLive! in 1999 with a vision to redefine live event entertainment in Philadelphia and beyond. Before founding the company, Kurt was already a celebrated performer, leading the charge as the bandleader of Jellyroll Band, Philadelphia’s most iconic party band.

A trained trombonist with a deep love for music, Kurt studied at Settlement Music School and West Chester University. Today, he leads BVTLive! with passion, overseeing more than 1,700 events annually, and remains devoted to creating moments that couples and clients will remember forever.

A University of North Texas alum and saxophonist with hundreds of weddings under his belt, Nils brings unmatched industry insight to BVTLive! As Co-Owner of our sibling company, On It Productions, Nils specializes in DJ, DJ Hybrid, and specialty entertainment.

Whether performing, planning, or pairing clients with their dream entertainment, Nils knows what it takes to throw a party that people talk about for years.

A Philly native with serious music chops, Paul is a pianist, performer, producer, and sales expert all in one. He studied classical and jazz piano at the University of the Arts and has performed around the globe—sharing the stage with icons and entertaining the likes of Barry Bonds and the cast of The Sopranos.

Paul’s experience in music production includes collaborations with Junior Sanchez and artists like Madonna, Katy Perry, and Shakira. At BVTLive!, Paul blends artistry with strategy as Director of Sales and co-bandleader of Jellyroll.

With over two decades of DJ experience, Pat is both a top-tier entertainer and an integral part of our sales team. He specializes in our DJ and enhancement services, helping clients customize their entertainment to match their unique vision.

His deep understanding of music, performance, and what makes a crowd come alive ensures that each event hits all the right notes.

Christine’s journey through the events world has taken her from managing yacht events in Marina Del Rey to planning weddings at the legendary Hotel DuPont.

Most recently, she runs her own wedding planning business while being an integral part of the BVTLive! sales team. Her infectious energy and love for weddings shine through in everything she does. She’s always had BVTLive! on speed dial—and now we’re lucky to call her one of our own!

Justin brings next generation energy and a lifelong connection to live entertainment to our company. As Kurt’s eldest son, upon graduating from Gettysburg College with a degree in Organizational Management and Business, he joined the family business, helping couples find the perfect band or DJ.

He also co-founded Sports Business Leaders, showing his entrepreneurial edge. With a sharp mind for business and a heart for performance, Justin is dedicated to delivering excellence for every client.

Bill is a veteran of the hospitality industry with more than 40 years of experience managing restaurants, nightclubs, and luxury country clubs. He’s also a former concert promoter and architectural consultant—yes, really!

As a Principal at BVTLive! for the past 17 years, Bill has the kind of attention to detail and guest experience that only a true hospitality pro can bring.

With a background in English and Marketing, Jackie leads BVTLive!’s digital strategy with creative energy and precision. She manages all things social media and inbound marketing for both BVTLive! and On It Productions.

Her certifications in content and social media marketing, plus her consulting work with brands like Cape May Brewing and Grassland Butter, make her a digital powerhouse. Off the clock, she’s a Philly sports fan, foodie, and new mom.

 Ashley blends creativity with meticulousness. A graduate of Neumann University with a degree in Communications and Media Arts, she brings graphic design flair, event experience, and a dance background to her role.

From designing print assets to supporting day-to-day operations, Ashley is a key part of the team. She’s performed with the Russian Ballet, auditioned with the Rockettes, and brings that same stage presence to everything she creates.

A graduate of Miami University and athlete who performs stunts for the Philadelphia 76ers, Cian manages our production offerings under On It Productions. Whether it’s lighting, specialty acts, or immersive effects, Cian ensures our entertainment looks as good as it sounds.
