BVTLive! and Double Up exceeded our expectations. We were extremely particular about our music and they went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted played was. It was a dance party the second the speeches were over, so much so that they had to ask guests to sit down to eat their dinner! I couldn’t recommend them more. They are the total package!

Once I saw the DJ / band combo at a friend's wedding, I knew I wanted to go for it for mine. After so much searching and quotes I stumbled across BVTLive! and they suggested Double Up and they were perfect! It's the perfect way to have some aspect of live music while still having the range of genres. Joe (the DJ) was great to work with and kept the energy up all night and it was awesome to have the drums there and the sax. Highly recommend!!

DJ Double Up and Soda Pop Strings were absolutely fantastic at our New Jersey beach wedding. They were super responsive throughout the booking, planning, and during the event. Soda Pop Strings played a wonderful violin & keyboard set during our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, it was very elegant. DJ Double Up (Joe H. & drummer) MC'd our reception and kept us dancing the whole night! He did a perfect job with song selection, with a playlist all age groups enjoyed. During planning, I emphasized the need for a reasonable sound level (especially with a drum set in a small-ish room), and I couldn't have been more satisfied with the quality of their sound setup.

BVTLive! helped make my wedding day so special. We knew we wanted a DJ for our wedding, and once we learned about their DJ Fusion options we were sold. With the help of Nils and the team, we chose Double Down, and they did not disappoint. I have received so many compliments on the music and the fun addition of having the live drums. We were on the dance floor all night long. We also rented our photobooth through BVT and everyone LOVED it. DJ Patrick Ryan ran the booth all night and was a pleasure to work with. Out of all the wedding planning stress, I never had to worry about the entertainment because I knew I was in good hands with BVTLive! I cannot thank them enough!!

Double Down is Amazing!! We are so glad that we booked Double Down for our wedding - we ended up hiring a sax player in addition to Joe and the drummer. Joe and his team were responsive and professional and (most importantly) did an incredible job! They played the perfect music for the event that kept people on the dance floor for the entire evening. They managed the flow of the evening from dances to speeches to dance floor perfectly and we felt like we were in great hands the entire time. We would 100% recommend using them for your next event!

DJ Joe Haederle had my guests on the dance floor all night long! I told Joe that I had lots of generations coming to the reception and wanted everyone dancing all night long, and his 100% hit the mark. Joe was quick to respond, easy to work with and very helpful when coming up with a playlist for my guests. I'd hire Joe again for any event!

I also had Lisa Sebastiani play the violin for cocktail hour and my ceremony. She added the perfect touch of class to my garden ceremony. Everyone loved the ambiance. She was also quick to respond and easy to work with. You can't go wrong with BVTLive! They deliver quality musicians and guarantee a lively party. As one of my guests said "This was the most dancing at a wedding I've ever seen!"

Chagrin Valley Hunt Club: Chris and Alex Waldock – July 17, 2021

Double Down was the best choice we made in our wedding process. They played amazing music that was fun for all ages, the live DJ enables guests to request songs that a live band / singer may not be able to perform, and the live instruments created the energy of a live band (at half the cost). It's the best of all worlds. Our dance floor was jam-packed for six straight hours. You wouldn't believe the number of people who came up to us after our wedding just to compliment the band.

Dance Floor Was Going All Night Long! . . . Double Down was flexible with us through all the COVID event uncertainties and very easy to work with. We didn't have much time to speak with them during the day-of, but our event went flawlessly! As we approached the wedding date we were given a simple online event form to fill out will questions about the order of events, wedding party names, and song selections. We then had a call with Joe to walk-through the form to ensure we were all on the same page for the big day. Joe was very kind, professional, and prepared for the meeting. He led the conversation with his expertise (which not all wedding vendors do!!) Leading up to the event, Joe was happy to connect with my cousin, who was singing a few songs for the processional and recessional, to make sure she was able to connect properly with their audio. Joe did a great job MCing the event (wedding party intros, announcing parent dances, the blessing, etc.) and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the dance floor was packed for the entire reception with guests from all ages! We had such a fun time at our wedding and received lots of compliments from friends and family who did as well. I would definitely recommend hiring Double Down for your wedding or special occasion! Be sure to ask about the mobile drum kit when you’re booking!

The Best Wedding Dance Party I've Seen Thanks to Double Down! When my husband and I were looking for entertainment for our wedding, we started out looking for a band, but when he heard about Double Down and their cool and unique approach to DJ-ing, we were totally excited to bring them on as part of our wedding team. We absolutely made the right choice. These guys are amazing. They are relaxed, communicative, flexible and above all else, are fantastic musicians that know how to get the dance floor moving. We had a hybrid Indian-American wedding and Double Down took our initial playlist that had some Top 40 Hits and some popular Bollywood dance music and turned it into 3 hours of dance party fun that got our guests of all age groups dancing up a storm. I've never seen my mother-in-law dance before and she was totally into it, putting all her moves out there to the music. I got tons of compliments and comments from guests throughout the night on how Joe was able to read the room and select the next song that was going to keep the party at peak enjoyment. I can't recommend these guys enough. They were also just so nice and friendly to work with. As a bride, you want someone you can trust and who can take care of business without a lot of hand-holding. Double Down did everything we needed them to do and more. If you are considering booking them, don't delay!

Hotel DuPont: Abby and Timothy Baron – October 11, 2019

Praying they're available for the remaining 4 kids' weddings!!! Unquestionably, THE BEST MUSIC EXPERIENCE from ceremony to send-off Double Down provided for my daughter's wedding and reception at the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington Delaware. Professional from the outset, emceed as needed, and then played music endlessly without breaks, awkward pauses, etc.. Our age range was 2 months to 92 and EVERYONE danced. So much fun, they catered to a family surprise request we had for the bride. They totally "read" the audience and kept the music coming uninterrupted. The drummer, Aaron, was superb and added to the livelihood of the event. Joe on the "whatever it is" ran the music like it was a Mormon Tabernacle Organ with all the gadgets! These men were so professional!! Dressed appropriately, as I greatly feared this event would translate into more a "club experience", and they didn't even go near there! Kept it in line to match the dignity of the event and venue, while providing music ALL just loved, or remembered, extracting the fun, love, laughter, and great times a wedding reception should evoke amongst generations and long-time friends. I cannot heartily endorse this duo enough, and know it may be at my own peril of being able to book them again because.....EVERYONE....wanted to know....who, where, how....to contact them. My brother wants them in Denver for HIS DAUGHTER'S wedding!!! You will not regret this booking---and we THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for getting up early and doing THIS morning/afternoon wedding and reception. You guys delivered!!
