Live Band Reception with an After Party  DJ

One important thing to consider when contemplating booking both a live band and a DJ is the order in which they will perform. BVTLive!’s dance bands are known for getting people out onto the dance floor and creating interaction with guests. Many of our couples choose to have the band play throughout the night and save the DJ for later in the evening when you don’t want the party to stop. Typically, if the couple wants to save the DJ for later in the night, the live band will perform for about the first few hours of the reception, and then switch over to the DJ for the rest of the evening. Alternatively, if you only want the band for the main reception, why not have a DJ for your after party
