For the 13th year in a row, BVTLive! was honored to donate our time and talent to one of the most meaningful nights of the year: the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Lemon Ball. This year’s event was especially significant, marking the 20th anniversary of the Lemon Ball, a milestone that reflects two decades of unwavering commitment to children and families affected by childhood cancer.

BVTLive has been part of the Lemon Ball almost since its very beginning, and returning year after year continues to be a privilege we hold close to our hearts. The mission of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation—to fund critical childhood cancer research and provide direct support to families—is one we proudly stand behind, not just as performers, but as long-term partners in the fight for a cure.

The evening itself was a powerful blend of elegance, generosity, and emotion. Guests gathered for a formal dinner and live auction, all in support of advancing research and care for children facing the unimaginable. One of the most moving elements of the night was hearing from three featured families, who shared their deeply personal journeys with childhood cancer. Their courage, resilience, and love reminded everyone in the room exactly why this work matters.

As always, the night was anchored by the words of Liz and Jay Scott, Alex’s parents and the heart behind the foundation. Each year, their remarks resonate just as strongly—if not more—than the last. Their ability to transform personal loss into impact continues to inspire all of us, and their presence is a reminder of how far Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has come over the past 20 years.

Musically, the evening was brought to life by Deja Blue, BVTLive’s band that rounded out the night with a high energy performance. The dance floor was full, and the energy was high; Music has always been a powerful way to bring people together, and it is something we at BVTLive! couldn’t be more proud of.

At BVTLive, giving back is central to who we are. Supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for 13 years and is a tradition, and a reflection of our values. Being part of the Lemon Ball’s 20th anniversary was an honor we will never take lightly, and we look forward to continuing our support in the years ahead.
