We just wanted to thank you SO MUCH for helping to make our wedding celebration so perfect; we could not have asked for anything more! Honestly, looking back on our wedding day the part that keeps standing out to me is the perfect ceremony music, where the special day truly began! I know we were not easy to work with, since it took us forever to make decisions and we emailed you our ceremony entrance song choice just days before our wedding, but you took that and truly blew us away! It sounded absolutely PERFECT! I put emotional value with music, and now every time I hear that song I'm taken back to our wedding day and filled with such joy. I cannot thank you enough!
Also, the reception was amazing! Everyone had such a great time! Our family and friends have been raving non-stop about how great our band was. Cousins who never get up to dance didn't sit down all night (and continued to tell me this throughout the night)! The oldest person there (in her 80's) joined in the dance circle--never thought I'd see that happen! My parents kept telling me all night long "awesome choice on the band!" and at least 6 friends have told me it was the best wedding they've ever been to! What a huge compliment, doesn't get any better than that!
We first saw you play at the Ardmore Music Hall band showcase in October 2017, and were initially drawn to your high energy and clear passion for what you do. It was this high energy which fueled our wedding night and kept everyone smiling and dancing all night long! Going to concerts is something we frequently do together as a couple since music is important to us, and both of us knew instantly that you were the band for us!
We hope you enjoyed the night as much as everyone else did! We seriously cannot thank you enough for making all of our musical dreams come true! You are the best!!

Strangers Band absolutely made our wedding reception one of the best parties I have ever been to. Denny, the band leader, and Rick, the band's music director, were so great and easy to work with. I requested that our wedding party came out to a song and they performed it EXACTLY how I wanted! They also added some special requests to the playlist for my Colombian side of the family. The song list was amazing from the very first song to very last. Our dance floor was never empty, and my guests did not want to leave. I asked for a super fun party with great music, and that is what we got! We got married in August and my guests are still talking about Strangers. Trust me, they will NO disappoint you! Everyone in the band is so friendly and extremely talented! I hope to see Strangers perform again soon! Thank you everyone for making our wedding day perfect!

Jessie and I just got back from the honeymoon and are trying to adjust to the time difference and get back to normal life. We couldn’t have been happier with how well you guys did! Everyone we’ve talked to so far that was at our wedding said the same thing and how much fun they had. You guys seriously killed it and and kept the party going the entire time. We have a quick iPhone video of when the horn players came outside closer to the end of the night and we’ve probably watched it 100 times lol. The whole experience was really cool. The Merion: Jess and Sean Baker – October 7, 2017
We had the strangers at our wedding and we would highly recommend them. Denny, the band leader, took the time to meet with us beforehand and go over all of our requests and the timeline of the night, as well as took the time to learn about our families and bridal party. He especially took the time to go over the pronunciation of each name to ensure smoothness during the reception. He was an excellent MC, kept the night flowing smoothly, and made sure to communicate with other vendors for important moments of the night. Our dance floor was packed full the entire night, even the grandmom's in wheelchairs were on the dance floor. We got many compliments on the band as they played a large genre of music including oldies to the newest hits.

Our favorite part of the night was when you played a song for sean & I only while we got photos and a first look at our ballroom. I was against using a band. Let's be honest bands are not cheap and I had a DJ lined. My wife would not budge on the issue so we began the process of looking for a band. We both enjoyed going to the Ardmore Music Hall to see the BVTLive! band showcase and we selected The Strangers. Best move we ever made. When you realize that you only get one chance to do it right on your wedding day you understand the cost is worth it. We met with band leader Dennis Bloomingdale who went over the playlist and explained the sequence of songs and why. He was extremely thorough. Strangers just blew the doors off of the reception hall. Dennis did an excellent job as the Master of Ceremonies and Strangers had us out on the dance floor and kept the energy up the whole time. Beyond the fact that Strangers changed my opinion about a band vs. D.J. I know they were the real deal because EVERYONE commented on how much they enjoyed the band. Friends that I have known since I was a kid who would never hold back their true opinions and feelings raved about Strangers. I would use Strangers again and recommend them to anyone for any occasion.

To the best in the biz…What can I possibly say when THANK YOU just isn’t enough?! I truly and sincerely thank you for everything you do…coming out and supporting our event every year. The band adds so much energy to the morning and fun & just keeps it going. I appreciate you working with us with the kinks throughout with the play, stop, play—haha! Just part of live TV, but it was great & always entertaining. You’ve been part of the event for 5 yrs. now, and I can’t imagine what we did before we had you—couldn’t ask for a better partner in helping it become the success it has. Ballroom at Ellis Preserve: Erin and Jon Domzalski – July 14, 2017
You guys were awesome. I did not expect that many people dancing all night! You had Aunts and Uncles who normally lounge around for parties, up and dancing and having a good time!
Not sure if Erin did, but I didn't get to thank everyone. Please extend our thanks to all the members. Your vocalists with their range was a big talking point, as well as your drummer throwing down some double bass! Guitarist was smooth as was the bass. Horns were just the icing on the cake! Can't forget about the keys and bongos. Overall, great performance. I hope you guys had as much fun as everyone else (especially the mother of the bride!)

Deerfield: Amanda and Jeff Blumenthal – April 8, 2017
From start to finish, Strangers Band was such an amazing group to work with. Prior to our wedding, my husband and I had an hour skype meeting with Denny and Rick to discuss song selections, wedding party pronunciations, flow of the day, etc. which was extremely helpful. They were so friendly and knowledgeable and really helped us envision how the day would be. They were really open to suggestions too and customizations to ensure everything was perfect. The ceremony and cocktail music was elegant and really helped set the tone for the day. Then the full band came into action for the start of the reception and truly brought such amazing energy and vibe to the reception hall! I think everyone was eager to finish their dinner so we could start the full dance set. Once the full dance set began, barely anyone stayed in their seats! The band played such amazing songs that were appropriate for all audiences and kept the dance floor packed all night. Some friends I had never seen dance before were letting lose! At one point my father-in-law got on the microphone for a cameo performance which was so fun! Truly no one wanted the night to end since we were all having such an amazing time! Following our wedding, every guest I talked to said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to, mostly because the band was so amazing! Numerous people said it was the best band they've ever listened to and raved about how talented the group was. It definitely was a major stand out element that set our wedding apart from others. The drummer even went above and beyond to mail us drumsticks and drum covers because he heard my uncle was asking for the sticks at the end of the night - such an amazing act of thoughtfulness! Overall, I highly recommend the Strangers Band and cannot thank them enough for making my wedding the best day of my life!

Merion Golf Club: Molly and Duncan Watts – June 11, 2016
A great band is the sine qua non of a great wedding and the Strangers were everything we’d hoped for. From our entrance (GnR!) to the final song (Journey!) they kept the energy high, the crowd happy, and the dance floor crowded. They were also a pleasure to work with: friendly and accommodating of our requests, but also happy to exercise their own judgement when we asked them to. We were thrilled with their performance and would recommend them without hesitation.
Thank you so much for the email. I had planned to write today to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! We had such a wonderful time on Saturday and Strangers really made the party what it was. Many people have told us how fantastic you were and we couldn't agree more. From our "Sweet Child O' Mine" entrance to the (perfect length) "Can't Help Falling in Love With You" to "Don't Stop Believing" to end the night... we really couldn't have asked for anything better.
