"Strangers were amazing!! We saw them at a showcase at The Ardmore Music Hall (which was such a fun date night!). They were within budget and so easy to work with. We met with Denny and Rick a few weeks before the wedding to talk everything over. Our one request was to keep the dance floor packed. And they exceeded our expectations! Our dance floor was packed with all different age groups all night long! We got so many compliments on them from so many of our guests too. They were 10/10 and would highly recommend!!"

Strangers made our wedding night the best one of our lives! Dance floor was packed from start to finish. Multiple people told us that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to and how much they loved the band, and everyone had a different favorite band member and a different favorite song. Highlight was when all the horn players circled the bride. Plus they did the best cover of "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" I've ever heard. Only wish we could go back and do it all again!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Strangers provide the entertainment for the night of our wedding. Every step of the way, they were professional, heartfelt, and incredibly helpful. They were very welcoming and made all the prep-work feel natural and very easy. Meeting Denny and Rick to discuss our music choices was also a pure pleasure. All of this to say, nothing - and I mean nothing, compares to how well they rocked the house on our wedding night. From an emotional keyboard during the ceremony, to swanky and fun saxophones at cocktail hour, they helped build the ambiance we were looking for on our wedding night. When it finally came time for the reception, they brought out the wedding party and helped us set the tone during our first dance that our night was going to be FUN. All throughout the night, our guests came up to us to compliment the band. My mom told me it was like she was at a concert! And even now, days later, people are still texting us talking about how amazing this band was. I can never thank them enough or say enough good things about them. Denny/Rick, if you see this, thanks again and you were completely right! (They know what I mean)

My wife and I got married in August 2025 in northern New Jersey. We used the Strangers as our wedding band. As the groom, one of my (few) responsibilities in wedding planning was to get the band. I looked around online and listened to countless demos—I saw lots of good bands, and some not so good ones. A friend of mine had recently attended a wedding in the Philly area and said the band was great—that band was the Strangers. I gave them a listen, liked them, and trusted my friend’s recommendation; we booked the Strangers for our wedding.
The band was GREAT. We had about 160 people at our wedding, ranging in age from 19 to 90. We are both 27 and most of our friends are about the same age. The band catered to all tastes. Our friends like to party—lots of drinking and dancing. The Strangers absolutely, 150%, met our group where they were and wanted to be. They sounded great, were tons of fun, brought tons of energy, and had a GREAT song selection given our group demographics.
My wife did the vast majority of the wedding planning and everything was beautiful, went off without a hitch…but the number one thing that everyone talks about and complimented us on was how good the band was. I get to take credit for something lol.
I also can’t speak highly enough of Rick and Denny. During the planning process, those two made it clear that they were absolute professionals who knew what they were doing. It was a gigantic relief to know that we were in good hands and could move on to other tasks.
I wouldn’t waste my time writing this review if I didn’t wholeheartedly believe that the Strangers were instrumental to making our wedding a massive, massive, FUN success (that plus the open bar). If you’re on the fence about picking a wedding band, just book the Strangers. And do yourself a favor and add the horn section—it was some of the best money I’ve ever spent. Also…ask them to play Meatloaf’s “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” if any of your friends/family are into classic rock: one of the highlights of the night.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Strangers provide the entertainment for the night of our wedding. Every step of the way, they were professional, heartfelt, and incredibly helpful. Strangers (BVTLive Band) absolutely blew us (and our guests) away. From the moment they started playing, the dance floor was packed — even with people we never see dance at weddings. Their energy, professionalism, and talent are unmatched. What stood out most is how they didn’t feel like just entertainment in the background — they felt like part of the celebration, bringing the entire room to life through their music. Before the big day, they took the time to meet with us, understand our vibe as a couple, and talk through musical preferences. There were a few songs we weren’t sure about, and they gently reminded us to trust their expertise when it came to keeping the party alive — and they were absolutely right. Every song hit, the transitions were seamless, and the entire experience felt personal and electric. So many of our guests are still talking about how phenomenal the band was. If you're looking for a band that brings joy, connection, and unforgettable energy to your wedding, Strangers is it. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Heros Ballroom: Julia and Ryan Meehan, May 3, 2025

We had Strangers Band play at our daughter’s wedding, (5/3/25) and they were absolutely fabulous! From the first song to the last, they had people on the dance floor all night. My daughter and son-in-law have very different musical tastes, and I honestly didn’t think any band could keep everyone happy and dancing with the different taste in music. But I was so wrong—Strangers completely nailed it. They played current hits, popular dance songs and rock and roll! Their energy was incredible.

The brass and singers  came out onto the dance floor, engaging with guests and keeping the party going nonstop. The music selection was spot-on, they played everything so well and in the perfect order. It was such a fun, unforgettable night. Strangers truly made the wedding. If you’re looking for a band that can play everything and play it in a way that keeps EVERY guest on the dance floor—  Strangers is the band. Plus they are really nice people and so easy to work with. Will send pics/video when available.

We cannot recommend Strangers enough if you're looking for a band for your wedding! Denny & the rest of the band did a fantastic job getting our guests on the dance floor, to the point that nobody wanted the night to end! We booked the Strangers through BVTlive for our November wedding. They were the BEST wedding band we could have ever dreamed of! Not living in Philly, we relied on videos online to choose what band would be the best fit for us. We took a leap and booked the Strangers and after meeting with them in the weeks leading up to the wedding, we knew they were the best choice we could have made. They kept the dance floor packed all night and every single person that we’ve talked to since our wedding says they were the absolute best wedding band they’ve ever seen! It’s one thing to have a band at your wedding but the Strangers bring it to a whole other level. They truly take pride in the guest experience and having a packed dance floor the whole night and you can tell by how upbeat and engaged they all are the whole night performing! We truly cannot recommend the strangers enough for your wedding reception! 1000/10 stars!

We booked Strangers through BVTlive and they were hands down the best wedding band we have ever heard. Our guests did not stop coming up to tell us how awesome they were! We knew they were going to be amazing after booking them following a showcase but their energy, ability to read the room and pick the most amazing songs for our event was better than we could have ever hoped for. Their range was phemonenal and they learned a new song for our first dance which was better than I could have predicted. We had some of their band members provide music for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well and it was great to not have to juggle multiple groups. They met with us to get our vibe and discuss logistics and their online platform for adding details made everything so simple. Thank you for making our event amazing! We couldn’t be happier with Strangers, booked through BVTLive! The entire process was a breeze, thanks to the amazing BVT team. Booking was easy, and attending the showcases was so much fun. While BVT is full of incredible talent, we’d always leave feeling even more excited that we chose Strangers. Communication was seamless from start to finish, and every person we worked with made us feel taken care of. Strangers went above and beyond for us, even learning three new songs we requested, and they absolutely nailed them! The performance was so lively and interactive—at one point, the singers went all over the ballroom, singing directly to guests and bringing everyone into the experience. The horn section was also on the move, mingling with our guests and even getting our older relatives onto the dance floor. We received endless compliments throughout the night. It felt like everyone was either asking where we found such an incredible band or telling us how much they rocked! The dance floor was packed the entire night, with energy that never stopped. If you’re looking for a band that brings pure fun and excitement, Strangers is it. We couldn’t recommend them more! Best decision we made in the wedding planning process!

BVT Strangers - best band in the Philly area, they kept the party going and energy up til 10:30 at night! From the intro. dances to the final song, our guests were greatly entertained and fully immersed in the dancing which was the goal for our guests! At one point, the groom joined the band onstage playing keyboard to Alicia Keys, "If I Ain't Got You" and Burt Bacharach's "Say A Little Prayer for You". It was the HIGHLIGHT of the night!!! Bvt + strangers = wedding perfection!

Our experience with BVTLive Bands, specifically Strangers was truly a dream come true, exceeding all our expectations. From the moment we reached out to them, they were incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. Paul picked up that phone and it felt like I knew him my own life! He invited me a showcase but sadly I was living Florida. Instead of giving up, he invited my mom and brother to sit in our place, and even sent me a livestream to watch virtually. He rolled out the red carpet for my mom, checking in with her though out the night and even texting me between each set to see what I was feeling!
Than Strangers got up and my mom, Paul and I instantly knew they were the ones for what we were looking for!! The horns, the different types of song, the vocal range and the interactions - they were perfect!! Paul brought my mom right to the table and got us booked! We were thrilled!

Working with Strangers was a breeze!! Dean, Denny and Rick were a dream to partner with. They took every crazy request, have little idea and dream come to life! The energy they brought to the reception kept everyone on the dance floor all night long, making our celebration truly lively and memorable. They even played Creed - and I will forever remember every dude rushing from the bar to the dance floor to belt their hearts out! They were able to make our entrance dreams a reality - with rally towels and Highway to the Danger Zone!

One thing that stood out was their flexibility and willingness to work with us on our song choices and timeline. They took the time to understand our preferences and made sure to incorporate them seamlessly into their sets. This personalization added an extra layer of meaning to our wedding day and made it even more special.

In conclusion, we are beyond grateful to BVTLive Bands and Strangers for their outstanding performance and the incredible energy they brought to our wedding day. Their talent and dedication truly made our event unforgettable, and we would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a top-notch entertainment experience for their special day.
