Eddie Bruce is a natural performer – and always has been. Eddie Bruce is a popular media personality in Philadelphia. He was the original host of “Dancin’ on Air,” a popular TV show in the 80’s, and recently hosted the reunion show on Channel 17, WPHL-TV. He was also a radio talk-show host for many years on WWDB-FM. Eddie has lead the Eddie Bruce Experience for nearly 40 years and has made them one of the most prominent social and wedding bands in the region.

Whether he’s singing from the concert stage with his band Experience, The Philly POPS, or performing for hundreds of guests at an event, Eddie instinctively knows how to engage his audiences. It’s why he’s such a standout, and has had such a successful and long career. Michael Feinstein said about Eddie after a performance in his New York supper club, “Eddie Bruce has a wonderful voice. And, his stage presence and tone are just as good.”
With over 4,000 weddings under his belt, he has lead his band Experience to notable and prestigious performances such as the Academy Ball, the Assembly Ball, the Grand Opening of the Kimmel Center (Cultural Campus) Philadelphia, and the Ball in the Square in Rittenhouse Square.

Eddie Bruce has had countless notable performances throughout his career. He is proud to have sung with The Philly POPS in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center at the launch of the new Philly POPS, under the direction of Maestro Michael Krajewski. He also performed for sold-out, standing ovation crowds at the Ocean City POPS and for the Hershey Symphony.
A frequently requested performer from coast to coast, he presented Eddie Bruce & Friends at Sugar House Casino for two and a half years, works in clubs in the region including the Razz Room in New Hope, PA, in New York at the famed 54 Below, Feinstein’s, and Metropolitan Room and at the M Bar in Los Angeles. When he presented his “Bruce on Bennett” show at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia, he had a two-week sold-out engagement. You can also catch Eddie Bruce singing the national anthem at his favorite sports team’s stomping ground, Citizen’s Bank Park, for a Phillies game each year.
Luke Carlos O’Reilly, Co-Bandleader
Luke Carlos O’Reilly is an award-winning pianist and organist. His musical style is heavily influenced by Jazz, Soul, R&B, Gospel, Latin Jazz and Classical. After a Boston upbringing, O’Reilly moved to Philadelphia to attend Esther Boyer School of Music at Temple University on an academic and music scholarship. It was in Philadelphia where he had the opportunity to tour and record with artists such as Seal, Roy Ayers, Curtis Fuller, Nicholas Payton, Dave Valentin, Slide Hampton, Macy Gray, Musiq Soulchild, Bilal, Renee Goldsberry, Carol Riddick, K’naan, Wiz Khalifa and many others.
O’Reilly has 3 solo albums: ‘Living In The Now’ (Prospect Hill Records 2011), ‘3 Suites’ (Prospect Hill Records 2013) and his latest release, ‘I Too, Sing America: A Black Man’s Diary’ (Imani Records 2021). All 3 albums contain original compositions, and his earlier works include arrangements of Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Cedar Walton, Mulgrew Miller, Janet Jackson and SWV. In 2018, he was named an ‘Artist In Residence’ at The Kimmel Center For The Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA. It was this residency that led to the creation of his latest release, which is a Black Lives Matter themed suite of music.
In addition to his continued touring of his own projects, O’Reilly works often as a sideman as well. He is currently teaching at The Kimmel Center of Philadelphia and The University of The Arts.
