Back2Life was fantastic. I asked many at the wedding how they liked the band and they said wonderful . Classic 80s rock was superb including songs by Bon Jovi and Journey. Many others. I would hire them again in a flash but all my children are married now. Maybe an anniversary or special birthday would do it.

“We hired Back2life band for our wedding that was held in Carinwood Estate. We looked at several wedding bands before we chose Back2life so we did our homework. Prior to our big day we had a chance to see them performing at the wedding and one of their BVTLive! shows. They were professional , sounded amazing and pleasant to meet in person. Kurt is very prompt with calling you back and he will work things out with you the way you want and advise you if needed. They have a great song selection and they will also play songs that are not on the list. We were looking for more of the rock and roll type of music and Back2life was able to fulfill our request. On our wedding day they were absolutely amazing. They started to play at the cocktail hour music that was very appropriate and not too loud so we were able to talk to our guests. After that we had our first dance song played. We chose Michael Buble song “Save the Last Dance for Me” and they played perfectly. From that point on, the party began and they kept the crowd going and the dance floor was packed the whole night. They are a high-energy band that is fun and in-tune with the crowd. My husband and I danced all night long and had so much fun that we couldn't stop talking about it. Our family members and guests were calling us after our wedding with so many compliments to this band. We were told that that was the best band. Our guests said they haven't danced so much in the long time. We are so happy that we hired Back2life because they made our special day fun and memorable. We highly recommend them.”

Abington Art Center: Dalsey – Ilhan Wedding – July 26, 2014
What an excellent band--not only the music, but the personality and the helpfulness of the members. Our ceremony was to be outside and there was a threat of rain. The caterer wanted to move everything inside and we did not want to. One of the band members had a weather map on his phone and showed that all the rain was moving away from us, so he suggested keeping the ceremony outside. We did and it was Beautiful! During the reception, everyone danced the entire night. The band had so much energy that it was contagious. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

The band provided a memorable performance at the wedding - resulting in MANY compliments from our attendees. They were very proactive in understanding and meeting our requirements. Kurt - the band leader came to our house and met with us for 2 hours to capture our requirements. We wanted some Polkas and they played a medley - which was enjoyed by all.
The most endearing activity was giving the microphones to the 2 flower girls (5 and 6 years old) and playing music from Frozen - to which the girls sang. I heartily recommend Back2Life as a band that becomes part of the wedding!

Back2Life was quite simply the BEST WEDDING BAND EVER! Kurt, Marci, and the team were great to work with (for me and for the coordinator at my venue), they had everyone out on the dance floor, and sounded phenomenal. Their play list is vast and diverse, and they're willing to learn extra songs if you have special requests. We had they keyboardist play during the ceremony, keyboard and sax during cocktails, and the full 8-piece band during the reception.
I'm honestly hoping to see them playing other venues in the area so we can go see them perform again! They're amazing!!

William Penn Inn: 50th Anniversary Party – May 31, 2014

I cannot thank you enough for making my parents 50th Anniversary party this past Saturday at the William Penn Inn such a huge success. Back 2 Life knocked it out of the park! I had so many people complimenting how great they were and I certainly couldn't agree more. What impressed me the most was how well the band tailored the evening to meet our needs. From playing all our requests, including some non-traditional ones, to managing the flow of the evening, and most importantly matching the sound volume to the room and crowd.
My mom and dad knew from other events their friends and family attended that if a band is too loud or doesn't play their type of music they leave early. Every one of them stayed Saturday until the end of the night and danced their socks off! As my Dad said to me "It is a night I will never forget" and a BIG part of that is thanks to Kurt and crew from doing such an amazing and professional job.

I want to thank you and your band for helping make last weeks wedding reception at Holly Hedge a truly memorable event. The song selections and the delivery of the songs was amazing. I have never been to a wedding where I heard so many accolades about the band. Each of your members were fantastic, whether doing vocals or instrumental. The whole place was rocking. You even had my 85 year old grandfather resurrecting his dance moves on the floor. You and Back2life made the day perfect. I have a few more kids that will be getting married in the future, and I'm going to strongly recommend they use your band. No one wanted to leave at the end of the reception, which was a tribute to your band. And thank you for learning a few new songs we requested. I didn't expect you to play them, but they were phenomenal as well. Please pass this on to the others in the band. I want them to know we are all truly appreciate and grateful for helping make the day as memorable as it was. I wouldn't be surprised if you hear from some people who attended the reception about using back2life for their event. I would wholeheartedly endorse such.
The Waterfall: Winner-Varone Wedding- January 11, 2014
Kurt, the band leader of Back2Life, talked with the manager of the banquet center in advance of our reception to coordinate the activities of the reception. It was our party and we were able to enjoy our guests and have fun! Two pieces of the band played background music during the cocktail hour. When the guests were moved to the ball room for dinner, the full band was playing. They gave the life to the party! We entered and Back2Life played our requested song "The Prayer" for our first dance. The Groom is Italian as were some of our guests. Kurt and Marci did an outstanding job with this song. At its conclusion, the entire room stood and applauded the band! Our Italian friends commented on the singers' excellent command of the language. The guests were impressed with the quality of the singing and the music for all of the selections. The dance floor was never empty.
Throughout the evening, guests asked "Who is the band?" Since then, some have told me that they went to the band's web site to check it out further. Many took pictures of the band throughout the evening! The technical setup and support was so good that people were able to have conversations while the band was playing. No shouting necessary. Kurt was very responsive to the song list that we selected prior to the wedding. His attention to detail and experience made for a smooth and fun day for us and for our guests. He knows what works to get a crowd on the floor and to have fun. Some commented that the band sounded just as good or better than the original artists. The energy and enthusiasm of all of the band members was contagious! Our reception lasted 5 hours and almost all of the guests stayed until the end--on the dance floor! We highly recommend Back2Life!
Brantwyn: Linda Paoli & Mark Connors Wedding – October 25th, 2013
Knowing that music makes an event memorable, we picked Back2Life for our wedding. All we can say is WOW!!, they exceeded our expectations. I met with Kurt Manderbach and Marci and they listened to what we wanted and created perfect sets and even learned some special songs for us. They were professional, energetic, have unreal harmony and just so great with the guests. I can not tell you how many people asked for the band's name and just went on and on about how much they enjoyed not only listening and dancing ( dance floor was always filled) but watching them perform.
When it is Christmas, exactly two months after your wedding, and your family and friends are still talking about how wonderful your wedding was and how amazing the band was---you know that you nailed it!!!!
I have already recommended Back2Life and would certainly call on them again to guarantee a fun and successful event.

Back2Life: If you’re looking for an upbeat, energetic, crowd-friendly band for your event or wedding—look no further cause you want this band! No. Seriously—this band is awesome. Disclaimer—I was very skeptical of all wedding bands. I was not a crazy bride, per se, but I was very particular about what I was looking for with regards to music. I explained to Kurt (band rep) what I wanted and what I definitely did not want and they created a perfect set list that kept the dance floor and atmosphere booming all night long! Back2Life was the perfect band for us and made the night incredibly memorable. My wedding was 2 weeks ago and people are still telling me how super-great the band was and how lucky I was to find such a gem in the sea of wedding bands! I should also note that the Back2Life learned not one but two songs just for us! (ACDC’s Thunderstruck for the bridal party entrance & Sam Cooke’s Wonderful World for the father daughter dance). I really can’t say enough great things about them. They were super laidback and easy to work with and honestly enthusiastic to be a part of our big night. For anyone looking for a special event or wedding band (without the cheese and with loads of talent)…this is the band for you. I should also note that they came all the way from Philly to play our wedding in DC for a very affordable (and worth every penny) cost!!

Hotel Monaco: Powell – Bell Wedding – October 26, 2013
Back2Life provided the music for my daughter's wedding reception on October 26, 2013 in Philadelphia. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with this band and with Brandywine Valley Talent. As Elizabeth and Jeff and I get feedback from our guests, overwhelmingly everyone has commented on how much they loved the band. The dance floor was packed from 6:00 PM until the last dance at 11:00 PM. Our guests ranged in age from 19 to 83 and everyone was dancing. The variety and quality of the music was fabulous. When Marci sang, "You Say it Best When You Say Nothing at All" for the first dance, there was not a dry eye in the room. Our youngest daughter is getting married in Charleston, SC, in April, and the family requested that we bring Back2Life to that wedding. I think that says it all. This is a wonderfully talented group of musicians and vocalists, and you will not find a better band in the Philadelphia area.
