Every year, the Philadelphia Auto Show kicks off in style with the Black Tie Tailgate, one of Philadelphia’s most iconic and charitable gala events. Hosted at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, this black-tie evening brings together car enthusiasts, philanthropists, and community leaders for a night of giving back.

For more than 20 years, BVTLive! has been honored to provide the entertainment for this spectacular evening. The celebration begins at the red carpet with a DJ Hybrid experience, followed by live sets from electric violinists, a bluegrass quartet, a jazz trio, and even dueling pianos—creating a musical journey throughout the venue.
The night culminates with dessert and dancing on the top floor, where Philly’s own Jellyroll Band, one of the city’s most beloved and award-winning party bands, takes the stage. With powerhouse vocals, nonstop energy, and a setlist that keeps the dance floor packed, Jellyroll makes every Black Tie Tailgate an unforgettable celebration.

The Black Tie Tailgate benefits the Department of Nursing at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), raising hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to support the hospital’s life-changing mission.
