With the 2023 wedding planning season in full swing, we want to look back at all the things we accomplished throughout 2022. BVTLive! performed at over 2,300 events ranging from weddings to festivals, galas to balls, mitzvahs to anniversary parties, and many more. Winner of “Best Of” Magazines
The ‘Best of’ segments of Delaware Today, Philadelphia Magazine, Main Line Today, and Philadelphia Style Magazine highlight the finest businesses, entertainment, and dining each respective area has to offer. We were excited to have our BVTLive! Bands and entertainers perform at many different ‘Best of’ events throughout 2022.
“Best of Philly” Party
BVTLive! had the chance to provide the entertainment for the “Best of Philly” Party held by Philadelphia Magazine at Philadelphia’s Dilworth Plaza. A BVTLive! All Star Band performed that included a blend of some of BVTLive!’s experienced musicians, as well as a DJ Saxophone Combination featuring DJ Linx and Nils Mossblad, known as SaxOnIt.
In addition, our BVTLive! Musicians performed at Philadelphia Style Magazine’s “Best of Style” event at the Crystal Tea Room which showcased the ultimate guide to luxury living in Philadelphia. At this party we featured our solo electric violin player Bronwyn Beth for a sophisticated first welcome, as well as DJ Linx in the casino-themed room.

“Best of Delaware” and “Best of Main Line” Winner
Jellyroll won both the “Best of Main Line”, promoting the best entertainment in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, and “Best of Delaware” as the Best Party Band in Delaware. Not only did Jellyroll win each of these ‘Best of’ awards, the popular wedding and event band also performed at each of the ‘Best of’ Parties, celebrations acknowledging the recipients of these awards in various categories hosted at Drexelbrook and the Chase Center on the Wilmington Riverfront.

Best Galas Performances
Not only did we perform at many Philadelphia Luxury Weddings throughout the year, we were contracted to play at a plethora of sophisticated Philadelphia area Galas and Balls. Some of our 2022 gala highlights include:
- The Union League Commodore’s Ball
- The Cure SMA Gala, benefitting the patients and families affected by spinal muscular atrophy
- The PYO Gala, celebrating the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra
- The Carousel Ball, benefitting the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
- The Philadelphia Heart Ball, celebrating the American Heart Association
- The DCMH Gala, for Delaware County Memorial Hospital
- The Allentown Symphony Ball, benefitting the Allentown Symphony Orchestra
- The Deborah Hospital Foundation Gala, held in support of Deborah Heart and Lung Center
- The Devereux Hope Gala, benefitting children, adolescents, and adults living with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive differences.
- The Seashore Gardens Black and White Ball, benefitting a non-profit supporting the elderly living in Galway, NJ homes
- The MANNA Main Course Gala, an organization that uses nutrition to improve health for people with serious illnesses who need nourishment to heal
Perhaps one of the most exciting and important Galas we provided live entertainment for was the Army-Navy Gala, held in December at the Pennsylvania Convention Center the night before the Army Navy Football game. Our band, Jellyroll, entertained some of the nation’s greatest leaders. It’s always an honor to provide entertainment at events that honor the influential people of our country.

Philadelphia Eagles Home Opener 2022
Being a Philadelphia-based entertainment company, we love our Philly sports teams and were elated to play at the 2022 Philadelphia Eagles Home Opener in September! Our bands Jellyroll and Big Ric Rising rocked the Tork and Hyundai Clubs at Lincoln Financial Field prior to the game. Best of all, the Eagles won 24 – 7 versus the Minnesota Vikings.
Live Philadelphia Music Showcases
Throughout 2022, BVTLive! hosted 25 Band Showcases at the Ardmore Music Hall, as well as at Drexelbrook. Our award-winning showcases are the perfect opportunity to see your future wedding bands live on stage in-action. We want our guests to feel no pressure, but just enjoy a fun night of talented musicians and the best Philly wedding bands.

The Philly Special Band Plays with BVTLive!
Perhaps our most exciting announcement of 2022 was adding a new BVTLive! band to the mix, making our live band roster grow to 12. The Philly Special Band is a 10-piece band made up of 4 lead vocalists, a drummer, bassist, guitarist, keyboardist, and horn section. Andrew Warren, the band leader, studied guitar at Carnegie Mellon. With years of experience and hundreds of gigs and events played, Andrew is the perfect person to lead The Philly Special Band into success as a great Philly wedding dance band.
