As we cruise towards July, BVT’s roster is heating up faster than a Coleman on the Fourth!
Last week, Jellyroll and the Back2Life Trio played the Desmond Hotel in Malvern.
Jellyroll rocked the deck of the Sunset Grille at the Desmond last Tuesday.
Jellyroll vocalist Dondi Allen brings the music to a guest at the Desmond.
Jellyroll was joined by BVT’s newest specialty act, A Cappella Pops, who performed Lazy Day by the Moody Blues, and Happy Together by the Turtles.
Jellyroll vocalist, Tesa Williams, pulled the crowd in with a slow and sultry verse of CCR’s Proud Mary before picking up the tempo and blowing everyone away with the second half.
Dancers young and old were up and dancing throughout the night as Jellyroll played three sets of everything from the latest hits to the classics.
Some of Jellyroll’s most loyal fans made the trip from Roxborough, including Jellyroll drummer, Gary Brennan’s wife, Peggy (2nd from left).
The Back2Life Trio followed up by playing on Thursday night.
City Rhythm, one of BVT’s most versatile dance bands keeps the unique events coming this Summer.
They’ll be playing the 2011 Blobfest at the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville. Attendees reenact the famous scene of the classic film, The Blob, by running out of the Colonial Theater, where the legendary scene was originally filmed. City Rhythm will be providing the entertainment prior to the big “run out.”
Fans of the classic film run from the theater, reenacting the famous scene.
Check out The Colonial Theatre’s website for more information.
Come back soon to see what else BVT is up to this Summer!
