Strangers rock the block at FOX 29’s Salute The Military

Strangers and BVTLive! were up bright and early last Friday morning to join Fox29 at their Salute the Military block party! Strangers rocked the stage and had everyone up and dancing in the street! Also joining in on the fun were the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders and Swoop, the Phillies Ball Girls and the Philly Phanatic, and of course hundreds of members of the United States Military.

Strangers’ bandleader, Dennis Bloomingdale, and three other men that fought beside him in the Vietnam War, shared a previously untold story about one of the final battles of the war that they had miraculously – and thankfully – survived. You can see their story and Strangers rocking this event in the video posted below!

Days like this one make us proud to be Americans, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to pay special tribute to our service men and women.
