Uncertain Times
We are currently going through uncharted territory and a time that is unfamiliar to all of us. No one could have predicted this pandemic or how much it was going to impact our world. However, one thing is certain, we are all in this together and you are not alone. There are thousands of brides out there that had their big day scheduled during this time of isolation and social distancing. Thousands of brides who are forced to either cancel or reschedule their wedding. YOU may be one of those brides. Many are choosing new dates in 2021 to ensure they are able to gather with their family and friends and celebrate their marriage.
For 2021 and 2022 Brides
For those of YOU who are in the midst of planning a wedding for 2021 and beyond, use this time of social distancing to your advantage, and keep planning your wedding! This is the time to nail down wedding professionals and any remaining details you haven’t figured out yet. You are home to research, make calls and check availability (which is filling up fast). In fact, many venues, wedding bands, florists, and other professionals are providing the option to do a virtual consultation, tour, or virtual band showcase, from the comfort of your home, to make the wedding planning process seamless during these uncertain times.
The Time Is Now – Venue & Other Professional’s Availability Is Limited
Without a specified end date to the COVID-19 pandemic, making these big decisions can be scary and many of you may be thinking to yourself, “I’ll just wait until this is all over to plan my wedding.” However, as we said, dates are filling up fast, so get booking! Many of you may not have thought about the limited supply of bands, performers, venues, and other professional services once this pandemic is over. If you thought waiting until the stay at home order is dropped, you may want to reconsider as many options will be fully booked at that point. Don’t wait until it’s too late!
Don’t Stress
Planning a wedding can be stressful no matter what the circumstances, so do a little bit of planning each day. Write a list for yourself of all the things that need to get accomplished in order to have the dream wedding you’ve always envisioned. Do you still feel overwhelmed and not sure how to keep it all organized? Hire a wedding planner to communicate between your venue and all of your wedding professionals. At the end of the day, whether you have a wedding planner, or just family and friends helping you plan your wedding, it will all come together and be one of the most memorable days of your life. Breathe, enjoy the process, and happy planning!
