Pilot Freight Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner

News

Pilot Freight Services, Eventions Productions, and BVTLive! teamed up in Atlantic City for the company’s Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner, making it the 5th year of this “A-Team” partnering to create a fantastic event. Other major players of this team included Brian Kapra from Evantine Design (custom décor & furniture), Brian Toner from Eventions Productions (sound & lighting), and Dave Williams from CinemaCake (video).

This two-day event began on Wednesday, April 9th, at The Chelsea Hotel, where the 5th floor was reserved for 400+ guests from all over the United States to enjoy; including a restaurant, lounge, and dance club. The Chelsea’s elaborate food and beverage concept included butlered hors d’oeuvres & various food stations throughout the entire evening.

BVTLive! brought out the best from their Specialty Acts, DJ, and Inspired Emotions divisions. International recording star, Andrew Neu and his trio played original selections, traditional, and smooth jazz while also featuring special guest vocalists, Joanne Farrell (Midnight Hour) and “Big Ric” Minter (Big Ric Rising), creating a retro-lounge feel with standards and tunes from the Great American Song Book. Afterwards, DJ Jon Gill established a dance club atmosphere for attendees until the night’s end.

At the Borgata Hotel & Casino on Thursday night, The Annual Awards Celebration Dinner began as DJ Jon Gill welcomed guests during the cocktail reception with a modern-techno feel. Eventions Productions provided top of the line video screens and a celebratory drape reveal including the Pilot logo from the cocktail hour into the main ballroom. Back2Life welcomed attendees with high-energy hits as they were seated. The band also provided a pristine set for dinner. During the awards reception, DJ Jon Gill used over 50 specific “award-walkup” tunes for the winners. Perhaps the highlight of the evening was a surprise performance by award-winning international act, The Three Waiters. This ensemble included three men, dressed as hotel employees, who completely amazed guests with an outstanding opera presentation.

BVTLive! is exceptionally proud of this event but could not have been done without an all around effort from The Chelsea Hotel, Borgata Hotel & Casino, Eventions Productions (special thanks to super sound techs: Brian Latocha and George Liberi), Evantine Design, and CinemaCake.
