BVTLive Scholarship

Investing in the Future of Our Industry

Wedding & Party Bands

The Philadelphia Vicinity Club Manager’s Association (PVCMA) is an organization of all the country clubs in area, and each year, its foundation awards scholarships to deserving individuals who demonstrate a strong presence or promise in the hospitality industry. For the first time ever, BVTLive! has committed to contributing $1,000 to these scholarship awards yearly, as a friend of the Philadelphia Club Foundation! This year’s recipient was chosen as for her exceptional work as an intern at the Philadelphia Country Club. On November 10, 2014, Elisabeth Leister received the very first BVTLive! scholarship. She was a food and beverage employee at Cedarbrook Country Club for 3 years prior to her summer internship at Philadelphia CC. Elisabeth is currently a student at the University of South Carolina pursuing a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management, aspiring to be a club manager following graduation. She was working so hard at school that she unfortunately could not attend the award ceremony, so Philadelphia Country Club Manager Janine Budzius accepted the scholarship on her behalf.
