BVT On Ice: Jellyroll, Contagious and Back2Life Rock the Flyers Wives Carnival

News

Watch highlights from the 2012 Flyers Wives Carnival including entertainment from BVT.

The carnival celebrated its 35th anniversary, while BVT provided music for the sixth consecutive year. Guests were treated to carnival games, player photos and autographs, and the music of BVT’s Jellyroll, Contagious, and Back2Life.

Jellyroll violinist Brian “Fitzy” Fitzgerald and longtime saxophonist “Joe Blues” Ramagano jam together on the main stage at the Wells Fargo Center.

The frontline of Contagious kicks the carnival off with the first set of the afternoon.

Mark, Marci, Kurt, and Tina of Back2Life display some vocal power during the middle set of the afternoon.

BVT was featured among the top level sponsors for the carnival.

Besides providing full bands for the main stage, BVT also supplied smaller ensembles throughout the building. Featured were the Britton Brothers, the Tony Gairo Duo and DJ Bob Balan. The Tony Forliano Jazz Trio performed for the carnival after party at the Cadillac Grille.

We would also like to thank Toner Sound for providing the sound system which enabled the bands to fill the Wells Fargo Center with sound. The event was a great success and BVT looks forward to being involved for years to come.  Thanks to Comcast Spectacor Charities and the Flyers Wives for inviting us to be part of this wonderful tradition.  Here’s to another 35 years!
