Big Ric Rocks the Blossom Ball!

News

It was an evening to celebrate hope, rebirth and recovery as Big Ric Rising helped honor NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Pennsylvania’s chapter at their annual Cherry Blossom Ball held on April 2nd at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia.  The event featured a rocking performance from Big Ric Rising as well as an appearance by one of Philadelphia’s most exclusive chef’s, Michael Schulson. Chef Schulson is the charismatic chef and owner of Izakaya in Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel, as well as the renowned Sampan in Philadelphia.  Chef Schulson even created a special cocktail in honor of this year’s event, the Cherry Blossom Martini, for guests to enjoy.  (Chef Schulson will spotlight the Cherry Blossom Martini at his restaurant, Sampan, during the week of April 4th in a continued effort to raise awareness of mental illness.)  BVT was honored to provide the entertainment for last year’s ball, which featured Jellyroll, and looks forward to containing the relationship with NAMI PA by supporting future events and showcasing more of BVT’s signature dance party bands!
