The Phoenixville Foundry celebrated its 5th Anniversary on Friday, November 15th. Owned by The Hankin Group, a dynamic real estate company, the event space provides 18,000 square feet of the perfect mix of old school and modern amenities that add sophistication and charm to any occasion.
The Foundry celebrated with 250 guests including some of their favorite vendors and sponsors. Crucial to the night’s success was J. Scott Catering and Queen of Hearts Signature Catering, both owned and operated by Scott Walsh. From the start of the evening, the unique hors d’ oeuvres and creative food stations were impossible for guests not to take in. Along with the food stations, J. Scott Catering also provided three different bars in addition to the champagne tasting section provided by another sponsor, Franks Wine from Delaware. As guests arrived to the event Adam Moyer, a DJ from Silver Sound Entertainment greeted them with music. A performance from BVTLive’s All About Me followed as guests were mingling and settling in. The catering set-up perfectly complemented The Foundry’s tall industrial ceilings and unique landscape; and an exceptional job was done with the rest of the decorations as well. Tables, décor, and floral were provided by Party Rental ltd, Total Table Events, and Summerfield Flowers.
The 5th Anniversary celebration continued though 11pm with special announcements made throughout. Just before All About Me took the stage, the main speaker of the evening, Bob Tomasso – a member of The Hankin Group and Events Director at the Phoenixville Foundry – thanked his family, employees, and company for five years of success before turning the microphone over to Scott Walsh who thanked all the vendors for everything they provided for the anniversary event.
Once key players in the night were recognized and appreciation was paid, BVTLive’s party band, All About Me hit the stage for some incredible live entertainment. All About Me, recognized as one of the hottest bands in Philadelphia, rocked the stage opening with the hottest songs like “Get Lucky” and “Blurred Lines”, and took it all the way back to some Motown and Michael Jackson favorites. Guests were blown away by the quality of music provided, making their way to the dance floor after food and drinks. Lighting, sound, and stage were provided by IMS Technology Services.
Another striking aspect of the 5th Anniversary event was the amount of film and video entities in the building. Upon arrival, guests could have their picture taken by Dave Campli of Campli Photography, who not only took great shots of all the guests, but also of everything the evening had to offer. In addition to Dave Campli’s set up at the entrance was a new innovative photo booth set up by Tap Snap Phototainment. Finally, videographers from Allure Films by Tim Sudall were gathering footage in order to create a short highlight reel of the evening for all of the guests.
Overall, the Phoenixville Foundry 5th Anniversary party was a tremendous success! It was of course a team effort, as expected with any large event. Great food and drinks, along with themed decorations and lighting, supported by outstanding production and entertainment, all captured on photo and video makes for one fabulous evening!
